Sharp Sand has a multitude of uses in and around the garden.
Versatile, it can be used for laying paving and patio slabs, or mixed with peat and compost when planting.
Sharp Sand:

Due to its versatility, Sharp Sand is a good garden all-rounder. Ideal for screeds, renders or concrete, Sharp Sand can also be used when laying slabs or block paving.
Alternatively, Sharp Sand can be sprinkled and forked in to peat and compost for root cuttings and propagating cuttings as it can improve the soil’s overall drainage.
By adding Sharp Sand to heavy, clay-based soil it can help break down the soil, creating channels for excess water to drain through.
Sharp Sand is often used as a top dressing for lawns, making a cost-effective addition to any garden.
