Deck Cleaner Concentrate Lignum decking cleaner is a highly concentrated cleaning agent for removing unsightly green growth, moss and algae from wooden decking and furniture. This quality deck cleaner also provides protection against re-growth for up to nine months after application. Uses of decking cleaner As well as being perfect for use before re-staining or refinishing garden decking, Lignum decking cleaner and protector can also be used across a wide range of hard surfaces. Any surface that is prone to green algae, lichen or mould mildew can be treated, including: Timber decking Wooden garden furniture Fences Flag stones Roof tiles Concrete surfaces Dilution rate For removal of algae, mould or mildew mix 1 litre of super concentrate to 9 litres of clean water. Apply 1 litre of diluted cleaner between 2.5 - 5 square metre by brush or sprayer. Areas of heavy growth, dilute 1 litre of super concentrate to 4 litres of clean water. General cleaning with Lignum decking cleaner This decking cleaner is also suitable as a general purpose cleaner. Simply apply the diluted product to the required surface by either pouring or spraying. Scrub the surface with a stiff brush and leave for 10 - 15 minutes. Scrub the surface a second time then hose / wash down until all cleaner has washed away. Tips & Important Information Do not apply if rain is expected within four hours of application. If a decorative coating is to be applied to a cleaned wood surface, the surface must be rinsed off with water first. You should do this a minimum of 24 hours after treatment. Coverage approx 250sqm.
