It is also effective against the lavre of the cherry fruit fly. The active ingredient works in two ways; firstly, it is a contact pest killer that quickly eliminates the aphids and caterpillars that are sprayed. It also works systemically – going into the leaves of the plant and moving into the sap stream to protect the whole plant for weeks to come. This means that the bugkiller kills the pests that are hiding away from the spray or those that have a protective covering, such as scale insects and mealy bugs. One simple spray on plants growing indoors or outdoors will effectively kill most common pests and last for up to 3 weeks.
