Vinyl Silk Johnstone's Trade Vinyl Silk Emulsion is formulated for use on interior walls and ceilings, providing a washable, durable silk finish. For a high-quality, fade-resisting silk finish, use Johnstone's Trade Vinyl Silk Emulsion on plaster and embossed wall coverings, and it performs just as impressively on wallboards, concrete, cement rendering, brickwork and blockwork in internal situations. Available in a vast range of colours via the Johnstone's Tinting System, our Vinyl Silk will cover approximately 10-12 square metres per litre, depending on the nature and porosity of the surface being painted. Strong or contrasting colours may require additional coats, and in areas subject to frequent condensation (e.g. some kitchens and bathrooms), Johnstone's Trade Acrylic Eggshell is more suitable.
