Vinyl Silk Johnstone's Trade Vinyl Silk Emulsion is formulated for use on interior walls and ceilings, providing a washable, durable silk finish. For a high-quality, fade-resisting silk finish, use Johnstone's Trade Vinyl Silk Emulsion on plaster and embossed wall coverings, and it performs just as impressively on wallboards, concrete, cement rendering, brickwork and blockwork in internal situations. Available in a vast range of colours via the Johnstone's Tinting System, our Vinyl Silk will cover approximately 10-12 square metres per litre, depending on the nature and porosity of the surface being painted. Strong or contrasting colours may require additional coats, and in areas subject to frequent condensation (e.g. some kitchens and bathrooms), Johnstone's Trade Acrylic Eggshell is more suitable. Aqua Water Based Gloss Johnstone's Trade Aqua Water Based Gloss is an innovative paint designed for use on interior and exterior woods and metals, with characteristics of a traditional solvent-based gloss. Its finish is not only tough, durable and quick-drying, but it is also low odour and contains less atmospheric polluting VOCs. Our Aqua Gloss covers 10-12 square metres per litre, depending on the nature and porosity of the final painted surface, and is touch dry in 1-2 hours and recoatable in normal conditions in 4-6 hours. Wood Primer Johnstone's Trade Wood Primer is a solvent-based primer for softwood and non-oily hardwoods, suitable for interior and exterior use. Available in 1-litre, 2.5-litre and 5-litre packs, our Wood Primer can be applied with a brush to hardwood, planed timber and softwood to achieve coverage of 11-13 square metres per litre, depending on the nature and porosity of the surface being painted. Our Wood Primer is ideal for use with Johnstone's Trade Acrylic Durable Eggshell and is recoatable after 16-24 hours in normal drying conditions.
